Meet the Team at Southampton Dental

Katherine Weyhaupt
Practice Manager

Katherine joined the practice in 1990 as a registered dental assistant after completing her training through the American Red Cross at Scott AFB. She completed her Associates of Business Management in 2012; as well as her Bachelor’s in Communications, with a certification in Corporate Leadership in 2020. She is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Management.

With over 30 years in the dental field, Katherine has become a huge advocate for those in need of dental care, especially those that are at systemic risk due to other health diagnosis. She served several terms on the St. Louis Regional HIV Health Services Planning Council and takes her role as advocate to heart. She continues to serve as a consultant/trainer for agencies as needed. Believing that continued education is key to success, she is constantly learning what is necessary to provide excellent care to our patients; as well as, creating a positive and rewarding work environment for our staff at Southampton Dental.

She is the proud mother of Michelle, who is following her dreams in medicine, after graduating from Vanderbilt School of Medicine. In her down time, she loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.

Julie
Front Desk Administrative Assistant

Julie joined the practice in 2007 and has become a valuable source of knowledge at the front desk. She comes from a large, close knit St. Louis family. She married her husband James in 1999. She is the proud mother of one son, Dominic. She also has one stepdaughter, Melissa, and 2 step-grandchildren. She is a St Louis Cardinals fanatic! In her spare time, she loves to go fishing, although she does not actually eat fish. Julie likes to play games and enjoys sitting around her fire pit, relaxing with an ice-cold drink.

Stacey
Front Registered Dental Assistant, Front Desk Administrative Assistant

Stacey rejoined the Southampton Dental Family in 2023. She previously was with us from 2001-2009. Her primary responsibility is the front desk; however, we are lucky enough to have her step in to assist the doctors when necessary. Prior to returning to Southampton Dental, she was the Program Director and Instructor of the Dental Assisting Program at Midwest Institute for 4 years. She thoroughly enjoys working in dentistry, shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Patty
Insurance Coordinator

Patty joined our practice in 2022, bringing with her a vast knowledge in dentistry with a passion for dental insurance and all its nuances. She has been married to her husband Mike for nearly 30 years. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her fur baby Shadow, traveling and exploring antique shops for those overlooked treasures to re-finish and re-purpose.

Kaleigh
RDA, Registered Dental Hygienist

Kaleigh joined the practice in 2015. She graduated from John A. Logan College in Carterville, IL with an Associates in Dental Hygiene in 2012. She married her husband Brennan in 2015. She is the proud mother of two boys, Barrett and Warner. She has 3 dogs Chloe, Douglas, and Delilah. When she has down time she loves going to Cardinal & STL City SC games, concerts, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Lindsey
RDH, Registered Dental Hygienist

Lindsey graduated in 2021 from Lewis and Clark Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene and has worked in a variety of dental settings before finding her dental home with Southampton Dental in 2023. She prides herself on furthering a patient’s knowledge about dental health and proper at-home care techniques. In her free time Lindsey enjoys spending time with her son hiking, camping, and swimming in the summer months!​

Maggie
RDH, Registered Dental Hygienist

Maggie got her dental hygiene degree from St. Louis Community College in 2022. She joined Southampton Dental in October 2023. Maggie is passionate about patient education and the connection between oral health and overall health. In her free time, Maggie loves to travel and spend time with her wife, Sarah, and cat, Annie.​

Tina
EFDA, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Tina joined our practice in 2018, bringing with her 8 years of experience and a laugh that can be heard echoing through the halls. She graduated in 2010 from Missouri College as a certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She has three children, Lil Fred, Everly and Emilia, with whom she spends countless hours enjoying their sports and activities. She comes from a huge Italian St. Louis family. In her down time, she loves boating, music, dancing, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Tracy
EFDA, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Tracy joined the practice in 2010, bringing a decade of chairside experience with her. She is a great asset to our practice. She graduated in 2000 from Missouri College as a certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. When she is not chairside, she is spending time with her fur babies. Her newest passion is assisting in animal rescue and transport, as well as becoming a breeder of Ragdoll and Mainecoon cats. When she is not completely consumed with animals, she enjoys spending time socializing with friends.
